What motivates people? I sometimes wonder how different the world would be if more people in it were motivated? (Myself included) It's not easy to live. You get what you put in out of life. If you're not satisfied at what you currently have; don't be discouraged. You just need to put in more. Become someone that leads the way! Take what you need out of life, but also give a lot back. Get organized, oriented and on the ball! It's hard to get rid of the distractions, i know. . . tv, internet, magazines, etc. You are better than you think. You're capable of much much more. Find what motivates you and get yourself to where you want to be. You are what you want to be. Don't let anyone tell you different. You know what you need to do. So do it! If you don't know what you need to do, figure it out. Than do it! Step by step you'll make it that much closer to your goal.
The unfortunate need people who will be kind to them; the prosperous need people to be kind to. ~ Aristotle

A moment of violence. . . I mean silence . . .
Silence for soldiers who've lost their lives in this money hungry republican powered, disgusting war. Yet 7 years later the violence continues to this day. Ironically not against the powers that supposedly created the conflict. I wonder when the public will take back their rights? Take back their world. This is your world as much as it is mine, and everyone else. I don't approve of my world like this. This is not what my world should be like. I shouldn't fear everyday of my life and feel unsafe at all, anywhere, ever. My world should be happy, abundant, beautiful. So should yours. What happen to the days where you could leave your doors and windows open and unlocked, where neighbors knew each others families let alone each others names, where I decide what I'm capable of instead of the government deciding for me. I can't talk on the cell phone while I drive, but I can file & pay taxes every year no matter what? RIDICULOUS! Who said I have to pay taxes? I was born into this with no say? WTF? This is not natural law, but a man made one. I really pray one day that we take the power back. I'll leave you with a song that pumps me up everytime I hear it, by a band called RAGE AGAINST THE MACHINE.
A democracy which makes or even effectively prepares for modern, scientific war must necessarily cease to be democratic. No country can be really well prepared for modern war unless it is governed by a tyrant, at the head of a highly trained and perfectly obedient bureaucracy. ~Aldous Huxley
There never was a good war or a bad peace. ~Benjamin Franklin
TAKE THE POWER BACK
Bring that shit in! Uggh! Can anything be stupider than that a man has the right to kill me because he lives on the other side of a river and his ruler has a quarrel with mine, though I have not quarrelled with him? ~Blaise Pascal
Yeah, the movement's in motion with mass militant poetry
Now check this out...uggh!
In the right light, study becomes insight
But the system that dissed us
Teaches us to read and right
So called facts are fraud
They want us to allege and pledge
And bow down to their God
Lost the culture, the culture lost
Spun our minds and through time
Ignorance has taken over
Yo, we gotta take the power back!
Bam! Here's the plan
Motherfuck Uncle Sam
Step back, I know who I am
Raise up your ear, I'll drop the style and clear
It's the beats and the lyrics they fear
The rage is relentless
We need a movement with a quickness
You are the witness of change
And to counteract
We gotta take the power back
Yeah, we gotta take the power back
Come on, come on!
We gotta take the power back
The present curriculum
I put my fist in 'em
Eurocentric every last one of 'em
See right through the red, white and blue disguise
With lecture I puncture the structure of lies
Installed in our minds and attempting
To hold us back
We've got to take it back
Holes in our spirit causin' tears and fears
One-sided stories for years and years and years
I'm inferior? Who's inferior?
Yeah, we need to check the interior
Of the system that cares about only one culture
And that is why
We gotta take the power back
Yeah, we gotta take the power back
Come on, come on!
We gotta take the power back
Hey yo check, we're gonna have to break it, break it,
break it down
Awww shit!
Uggh!
And like this...uggh!
Come on, yeah! Bring it back the other way!
The teacher stands in front of the class
But the lesson plan he can't recall
The student's eyes don't perceive the lies
Bouning off every fucking wall
His composure is well kept
I guess he fears playing the fool
The complacent students sit and listen to some of that
Bullshit that he learned in school
Europe ain't my rope to swing on
Can't learn a thing from it
Yet we hang from it
Gotta get it, gotta get it together then
Like the motherfuckin' weathermen
To expose and close the doors on those who try
To strangle and mangle the truth
'Cause the circle of hatred continues unless we react
We gotta take the power back
Yeah, we gotta take the power back
Come on, come on!
We gotta take the power back
No more lies
No more lies
No more lies
No more lies
No more lies
No more lies
No more lies
No more lies
Uggh!
Yeah!
Take it back y'all
Take it back, a-take it back
A-take it back y'all, come on!
Take it back y'all
Take it back, a-take it back
A-take it back y'all, come on!
Uggh!
Yeah!

You might not be able to change the world, but you can change the way you see it!
It's all in perspective. How many times in life have you misunderstood something? How many times in life have you been misunderstood? Sometimes all that's missing is some tiny bit of information or detail that was left out or unknown to you or perhaps the message was miscommunicated to you. Then magically understanding starts to click, click, click til the situation as you know it makes sense. So if you miscommunicate with others, is it safe to assume you miscommunicate things to yourself? When you're body is telling you it's sick and fragile and yet you continue to be unhealthy and strenuous. When you think of one way to do something but actually do it another way or even start on a completely different task. It is incredible how awesome this world and life in it really are. If you view the world as bad and what's the point of living? Than all you will focus on consciously and unconsciously is the bad. You won't let one bad thing you see slip. You will further reaffirm your belief that the world is bad. But imagine you decide how your day is going to be ahead of time? Imagine you take a stand and lead your life in the direction you want it to go? You want to be happy & successful and live in abundance of health and wealth. . . . What's stopping you? or should I ask who's stopping you? The answer is YOU.
Always aim at complete harmony of thought and word and deed. Always aim at purifying your thoughts and everything will be well.
The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.
Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.
You must be the change you want to see in the world.
~Mahatma Gandhi

You go first. .
I wonder if people are just waiting for you to make the first move all the time. I'm not really talking in relationships, although i'm pretty positive it happens often in that spectrum. I'm talking about maybe your sibling waiting for you to make the first move in competition, or perhaps in life successes. I wonder why people look to others to set their standards in goals and in life. It's like you want to just do enough. Not too much effort, but not be a bumb. It's interesting, who do you compare yourself to? Are you ahead of them? Are you tie? Are they better in other areas and you likewise? Does that take away from your identity to be you? Are you so caught up in competition that you've stopped living the life you want to live and not just tagging along on someone else's journey? Don't wait. You never know what's going to happen.
When you suffer, you look straight ahead. When it's fun you look left and right. ~Lance Armstrong
